# Commercial Licensing

DDL-v1 does **not** grant any commercial rights. Any Commercial Use of
the Licensed Material requires prior written permission from the
copyright holder, negotiated as a separate agreement at the Licensor's
sole discretion.

## Requesting a commercial license

Contact the Datacustodia Dataset License organization with:

1. a description of the intended Commercial Use — territory, expected
   volume, duration, and the form of the Licensed Material involved,
   and
2. a statement of willingness to negotiate the terms of a separate
   written commercial agreement in good faith.

No Commercial Use should begin before the written agreement is fully
executed and any agreed consideration is paid or secured.

## A note on integrity

When the license text is excerpted, referenced or distributed alongside
the Licensed Material, it must be reproduced verbatim — including its
banner headings. Only non-substantive formatting (page breaks, column
adjustments) may change.
