Attribution

DDL-v1 requires attribution in every Publicly Released Usage Scenario (see Section 5 of the License). This page collects illustrative formats; the authoritative rule is the License text itself.

Required elements

Where reasonably practicable, the attribution must include:

  1. the Licensor’s name,

  2. the title of the Licensed Material,

  3. the version label DDL-v1,

  4. a URI pointing to the source, and

  5. an “Adapted from” marker if the data has been modified.

Adapted Material title prefix

Use “Adapted from [Original Title]” in place of the original title when distributing Adapted Material.

Source of the reproduced text

Reproductions of the License itself must be taken verbatim from the latest official release of DDL-v1, as designated by the Licensor at the canonical distribution URL (see Section 6(c) of licenses/LastestLicense.txt).
